So...Much...Smoke

California is on fire. The news yesterday said that there were over 1000 fires raging in varying degrees throughout the state.

The air is pregnant with smoke. The winds are driving them right to me. The morning looks like afternoon. The air is so usually clear that with all the smoke, it's very grey and the light of the sun is filtered to look like afternoon sun. It's very L.A.

With all the smoke in the air, the sun looks bright orangey-red during sunset. I tried to capture it, but I didn't do it justice.
